Hello! I've always been a fan of Chowhound, just reading topics etc. But I recently decided I wanted to start my own food blog, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to add to it.
I'm a student at UCSD and short of Yelp, I feel like I'm always trying to find out where everyone's going, what's good to eat. I feel like it's sometimes hard to find exactly what you want and sometimes a litle misleading.
So what I want to do, is start a campus food blog, it can be recipes that people submit, food reviews, restaurant reviews, but ultimately I would like for it to be something that all students can have access to, That way, freshmen and other students alike can have an idea of where to go. The idea is that anyone can submit but there will be a head group in charge of organizing etc. I mean, I see plenty of blogs from individual students, but wouldn't it be great to be all interlinked?
I think this has potential for a network of college campuses interlinked with reviews of the college area on where to go and what to do. So does this sound like a lame idea? Or something feasible? Anyone interested in this with me?
