Hoping I can mine the PNW foodie/hound database for any pertinent info regarding apprenticing with artisan food crafters. My ideal situation is to study under some Italian nonna in Tuscany, but barring that, staying here in Oregon would be great. I'm looking to learn the arts of cheese, bread, and wine making, as well as the growing and preparing of foods. I've lived and worked on organic farms, worked as a baker, have my own garden presently, and love to eat. Does anyone have any suggestions/connections? I'd appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks and be well.
