Food Anthropologist

Keith Halperin | Sep 21, 2002 01:14 PM

A few years ago, I heard a man describe on the radio how he could accurately tell someone's origin by what they typically ate at Thanksgiving. Recently, Ruth Reichl mentioned this fellow, though not his name. Despite numerous attempts at research, I've not been able to clearly identify who this is, though I have a clue it may be an anthropogist named Sidney Mintz.

Does anyone know of this person?

Thank you,

Keith Halperin
