Fontaine Caffe & Creperie - Old Town Alex.

My wife and I had lunch here yesterday, after reading the write up in the Post. It's a new place, two months old or so, on Royal St, just south of King. We had a splendid meal. My wife had a savory crepe of tomatoes, lentils, and goat cheese. Mine was savory as well, the Alexandrian, with Gruyere (?), ham, mushrooms, and thyme. A good size, filling, but not overly so. We then shared a sweet peanut butter and Nutella crepe - excellent.

On the way out, I popped into the Grape and Bean (http://www.grapeandbean.com/) across the street from Fontaine. It's a wine-shop-cum-coffee-place, that seems to have a good selection of both.
