Don't get me wrong, I'm really love my infant son, but I'm absolutely desperate for some fine dining beyond constant Thai take out. Pre-baby, my husband and I dined at Everest, Tru, Moto, NoMi, to name a few. Post-baby, I'm lucky to get through a carton of take out without tending to junior. So that's it. Momma needs a good meal! Our anniversary is coming up this spring, and I'm already scheming, plotting and dreaming of a spectacular meal to remind us of the old days of good dining. Beyond the restaurants I've listed above, does anyone have a recommendation for a great, romatic(ish) meal with fabulous service? (I'm too busy dealing with infant attitude to deal with snarky waiters!) I was considering Charlie Trotter's, but I'm not sure if it's overrated.
Thanks so much. Hopefully I can dig up a shirt without spit up on it to wear for our big night out. (Or I'll just pull out some old maternity pants to accommodate what had better be a satisfied belly!)
