Follow up on flower show eating

Thanks very much to those who answered my recent query on places to eat near the flower show. We went last night, and tried Patty's Pantry, which was recommended by a poster, but it turned out they don't have an eating area, just takeout. However, one of the employees saved the night by whispering a recommendation that we try Avenue Grille, which was just down the road. We were very pleased- clean place, fresh food, good menu choices- mostly subs, burgers, and a few hot entrees. Pleasant and helpful staff. Cooked fresh pasta for the youngsters with us because she thought the pasta was too mushy. Recommended to my husband that he order a kid's burger since the adult was huge, and would take a while to cook. He did, and with a cup of chili and a salad, it was plenty. I had a steak tip sandwich which was very good. Tremendously better than eating at the flower show!
