Follow up on all-you-can eat prime rib and crab legs

Thanks for the rec last month, Khuezee. Tonight my honey and I went to Amber Waves (the restaurant at the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel) for the All-You-Can-Eat Prime Rib and Crab Leg Buffet. It's every Friday and Saturday night from 5p-9p.

I started with a slice of prime rib, an end cut. Is there a way to get an end cut that isn't well done and dry? I left most of it untouched. Bummer.

But, I soon recovered. I had a ton of crab legs. They are good sized. Not bad. Totally worth $18.95! We will go back. A tip for those of you who get frustrated with crab legs: bring an exacto knife to cut down the length of the leg. I don't care if you think its tacky to bring your own utensils.

They have a few sides which looked pretty unappetizing in their sweaty chaffing dishes, but who needs sides when there are serve-yourself crab legs?

One last thing: I always use the apostrophe wrong with "its." Forgive me.
