a follow up to earlier london bread/cakeboxes query

Many thanks to those of you who replied to my query about good bread sources in London. Here is a brief survey:

DeGustibus - have not been to Borough shop but found the one near Baker St, on Blandford, which was okay. The Irish wholemeal was tough on the teeth, but the chocolate and the apricot nut were v nice.

&Clarke on Kensington Church St - nice selection and esp liked the Irish soda bread and the raisin nut rolls.

Baker & Spice on Walton St - smaller selection - emphasis on sweet things like cookies, pudding, and tarts.

Flaneur Food Hall on Farringdon Road - good selection of breads and wonderful intense aroma from cakes and other puddings on display.

Unfortunately, none of these places are anywhere near where I live -- Little Venice. Does anyone know the area well enough to direct me to any good restaurants or delis there? A Persian restaurant on Formosa St looks inviting, and the Red Pepper, which used to do reasonably okay Thai, appears to have metamorphosized into a pizza/deli?
