HELP! fois gras storage, etc.

I just got a package in the mail yesterday and it is a raw fois gras! beautiful but a challenge as I have to go to work, etc. what should I do aside from cook it now and just eat it with a spoon? I'd like to do a few things with it tomorrow night when i can actually spend some quality time with it. will it be ok if I keep it in fridge till then?
