I ate at Fogo de chao last night. I was a single so did not have the pleasure of cajoling others as the food went from table to table but let me give a description of the food and environ. I started at 645 and finished at 730 and noticed that there were more meats and staff as I was leaving and the place was more filled. No surprise. Take note of the ìpicture menuî that describes each of the choices. Read this before the food arrives. Likewise understand the red/green disk. When left on the table as red, the food staff will walk by your table, when left on the green side up, everyone offers the food. Be prepared to be attacked by the staff in bringing meat after meat after meat. Now onto the food. Itís grilled meats (one chicken) followed by grilled meats. Each server asks if you would like it rare to well-done, but you basically get what they cut off the skewer. I asked for medium-rare each time and it ranged from very rare to medium-well. The meat is well (some may say over) seasoned, juicy and tasty. Some of the meats are pretty fatty, others are very lean. I found the chicken was inedible (way over-seasoned), the little lamb chops were very good and the various cuts of beef fluctuated in between the two. The mashed potatoes added to the cholesterol intake. The salad bar included lots of choices including smoke salmon, asparagus, et. al. FYI ñ since the website des not include the price, I paid $48.50 for unlimited meats, sides and salad bar.
