I have created a soup that is awesome. This soup is great the day it is made but if I make it the day before and try to reheat it no go… I have come up with a smoked pheasant chowder… Twice now I have made this soup a day ahead and as I’m rewarming it in a crock pot it starts to produce foam and as it progresses it turns sour… After cooking it last night it was great… I move it to a crock pot and placed it in the refrigerator overnight. I took it to work and turned the crock pot to low rewarming it and stirring occasionally. As it warms I started to see small bubbles and as it progressed to warm it began to get as much as an inch of foam on top and the taste became sour… What could be causing it to foam and sour so drastically?
