Last night I went to Flow with three other friends. Not a very good experience. Despite having reservations for 9:45 we had to wait 45 min for our table. Then the waiter came and took only 3 of our drink orders and left before taking the fourth. For an appetizer, I had the salad with calamari which was very rubbery. When I asked for pepper the waiter came with a shaker which didn't work and then just gave up and walked away without bringing another shaker. He didn't offer salt either. When the main courses came, the server gave us all the wrong orders and acted annoyed when we corrected him. I had the steak which was a bit fatty but overall very tender. However, it was missing the mushrooms which were supposed to accompany the dish. My SO was lucky enough to get his. The best though, was that we used butter knives to cut our steaks since we were not given steak knives. For dessert I had the apple cake which was extremely bland. Therefore, I ordered apple ice-cream on the side which I was told was not like a sorbet. (I wanted regular ice-cream). When it arrived, what was it? of course sorbet. I asked the waiter and he said that he had thought otherwise. I would think that most waiters would be educated about the menu that they are serving to their customers. The real 'icing on the cake' was when 2 of the 3 cheesecakes ordered had cashews on them, while the third didn't. Do they just randomly pick the toppings for their dishes? None of what I've reported has been exaggerated at all and I will definitely not be returning.
