flour tortillas?

elizabitch | Jul 14, 200302:09 AM

hi there. i'm new to this board, but i've been reading avidly over the last few days, especially since i'm new to chicago, too.

i'm looking for a place to buy flour tortillas -- the thick, chewy kind. if anyone has ever eaten at the frontier in albuquerque, they'll know what i'm talking about. you can buy a dozen of them in a bag, and they're SO DELICIOUS.

the tortillas in the grocery stores here just aren't hitting the spot, and my one attempt at baking bread here let me know that my recipes have to seriously be adapted for low altitude cooking, so i haven't tried to make them at home yet. where could i go to find them? i'm in lincoln square.
