Yes, yes, I should have taken the advice for folks around here, but my wife loves, loves, loves arepas (at least the ones I make) so I took her to Flor's Kitchen, a cute, tiny Venezuelan spot on 1st Ave and 9th st. I love a lot of latin food, but found this kinda bland. Great service, however. The best thing we had were the arepas stuffed with meat (esentially sandwiches). And I liked the cachapas. I'd give it another try, but I wouldn't run back. But I do admire what the people there are doing, which is good, solid, cheap ethnic food.
