Does anyone recall the name of an Italian restaurant that was originally on 441 in Margate and then moved to Oakland Park Blvd in Sunrise? They had good food at very reasonable prices, but served ridiculously large portions.

We used to go there with our kids (5 of them) and order at most 2 dishes. The take home containers were casserole size foil pans. The kids loved to watch people who were there for the first time and ordered a dish for each person. The look of shock on their faces when massive amounts of food were delivered to their tables always made the kids laugh. They expanded to the space next door, which didn’t have a kitchen, with plans to break through, but that never happened, so the waiters would go out one front door with the food and in the other.

One day they just shut their doors with no warning.
