We recently gave flor de mayo, a chino-latino at broadway and 101st another try. We'd been a couple of times for chinese, not impressed, but this time we hit pay dirt with the latino side of the menu.
I had the peruvian chicken with chinese fried rice. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned and their green sauce worked perfectly with the dish. The star of the dish was the shrimp fried rice (this is coming from someone that never orders fried rice), the rice was light with nice chunks of pork, vegetables and small shrimp.
my wife had lomo shrimp: stir fried shrimp marinated in a lomo saltado marinade. Served with rice and fries, the otherwise ordinary fries are drizzled with the vinegar-based marinade. Delicious!
this is a restaurant that's good for kids early but later in the evening there's often a line out the door and I understand they serve potent cocktails.
