Fleur de sel -- is it really worth it?

I stopped using table salt in my cooking a couple of years ago and switched to kosher salt. Now I'm hearing about fleur de sel and wondering if it's really worth the extra expense. I take it I'd still use the kosher salt for most things, but that the fleur de sel is more like a condiment to sprinkle on foods before serving them.

Any opinions? Any brands better than others? Any sources for getting it at the best price?
