Flavor of India

We were driving by this one for ages and finally went in for dinner last Friday. I'm not sure if this is in Queens or Nassau; it's on Hillside Ave, about six blocks east of Little Neck Pkwy, on the north side of the street. We had a delightful dinner. My SO, ever the traditionalist, had his usual samosa and tandoori chicken, and was greatly pleased. He ordered plain naan, which looked like a glorious pillow, and reported that it was terrific. I had chicken pakora and lamb achari, a dish I am not familiar with; it was lamb in a brown gravy flavored with Indian pickles. The meat was very tender and the flavor with the pickle was so tasty......
This area is fast becoming an Indian stronghold and I am delighted!
