Weak jack and waters, average food at best. But the beers on tap are tasty and the staff is attentive.
At first, I couldn't decide between the steak tips and the rock shrimp & chorizo quesadilla. I opted for the 'dilla. While the presentation was great (spiraled sour cream on the 4 cut pieces of quesadilla, whole thing served over mesclun (correct spelling?) greens with freshly prepared salsa), the flavors of the dish itself were just bland. I could only taste the cheddar cheese basically.
The gentleman next to me had the steak tips. It looked like a 4 small tips on a skewer - not much for $10 but this is downtown I guess.
My Dad's Place next door indeed looked adequately shady to try, but was filled with 40 somethings when I walked by so I opted against it (being only 28). Maybe when I get a hankering for Keno.
Next on the list to try is definitely Flux after MC's review.
