Hi all - I am a 10-year Ebisu devotee; have had sushi here and there elsewhere from time to time but for various reasons (love it, nearby, and have the place totally figured out) have gotten sushi at Ebisu I'd say 70 times? more? gotta be more.
so: love Ebisu, but it's time for a change. have babysitter, am planning to go out for sushi tomorrow night. am excited. suggestions? my preference is great fish, though I'd like a nice setting if it came with the great fish (again, change from Ebisu and its rec room look). In San Francisco, don't care where. I want good good good fish, a great, fun sitting at the bar experience, and I'd just as soon skip a place that's momentarily hot and trendy unless, as you can guess, it has the great fish.
thanks for any thoughts!
