Fish warehouses in San Pedro?

Sunshine Girl | May 17, 200503:30 PM

When on a free harbor tour the other day, we noticed the number of dolphins out by the old warehouses in San Pedro, at the far far end of Fisherman's Wharf. The woman standing next to us said that the dolphins were all feeding on scraps from the fishmarkets, as those fishmarkets are the ones that supply a lot of the product for SM seafood, etc. She added that if you get there at 5 am on weekdays, you can get amazing fish, and much cheaper than SM seafood.

Can anyone corroborate this? And if so, any more specific information would be appreciated.
