Note fish not shell-fish. I am particularly interested in local fish, not available up north.
My dining companions eat no shell-fish and pork. Fins' sample menu lists a number of standard fish (salmon, sword fish, tuna, etc.) without seafood stuffing and sauces, though most local fish is usually crab- lobster- oyster- shrimp accompanied. How flexible might the kitchen be in preparing seafood-free fish?
Do they prepare whole fish or is everything filleted?
Does anyone know how representative the sample menu on-line is?. My DCS do eat beef, chicken, and other non-porcine meats, but it seems a pity to order chicken in a fish resto.
What fish is now in season locally?
