I am interested in restaurants like Milos, Avra and Thalassa but a little intimated about the fish per pound thing after reading about $100 dollar fish at Milos.
Does anyone have experience with this?
After choosing your fish, do you get to tell them how many pounds? Or can they just choose any size and surprise you when the bill comes out?
I know that no one can tell me exactly what the fish will cost since this varies daily. But I am trying to get an idea of what to expect.
If prices are lower at restaurants like Taverna Kyclades in East Village I can consider that as well.
Also, If anyone has any suggestions for Greek whole fish restaurants with reasonable prices I would love to hear it.
