As a fan of Little Fish BYOB I was looking forward to Fish, which has a bar. Six of us had the Prix Fix menu and a dozen or so oysters. Good food, reasonable value, well prepared and very nice presentation. The waitress was a doll and I like the atmosphere. Portions were a bit small and two of us left feeling not full, but I thought it was fine.

Except for the wine and liquor. $10 for a 3 oz. pour of average red wine?! Not sure if it was a malbec, but nothing special. The two mixed drinks were also short pours and $10 or $12. I'm fine spending money on bar drinks knowing the markup is huge because that's where the restaurant makes a profit. I paid the bill and a nice tip, but won't be back. Why tick off someone who buys dinner and apps for six by cheaping out on the drinks?
