The fish market that sell Rattlesnakes in Oakland.

This Sunday, we had an Easter Breakfast in Oakland and I wanted to check out the seafood market that had rattlesnakes and armadillos for sale. We discuss this place when 9 lovely Chowhound Ladies meet for lunch at Lengendary Palace. I was honored that I was the only man allowed to attend. My wife who was there has stated that I am not going to any other meal like that without her.

The name of this seafood market is Sun Chong. There were no armadillo’s yesterday, but they had snakes. This is the same place that had soft shell crabs. The fish looked fresh and the vegetables are very fresh. When in Oakland we always shop there.

The location is on 8th street along the corner from Legendary Palace.

After shopping in Oakland we went to San Francisco to have lunch with more family and I found one more fresh fish market closed. This makes two fresh fish markets and one meat market that has close since last year. San Francisco Chinatown is changing, I hope for the better. Maybe it time to walk San Francisco Chinatown again.
