Fish (Mahi-Mahi)

Morning All - So a quick question:
Was in the process of preparing dinner yesterday evening, I had rubbed a Mahi-Mahi fillet with olive oil and rubbed jerk season over both sides. I was called away and un-able to grill the fish. I wrapped it up tight and stuck in the fridge. Will the hours in the fridge with oil and spice affect the flesh of the fish?
