Fish: great food, terrible service

So, following Asimov's review, I went with my girlfriend to eat at Fish last night. The food was delicious: great oysters, succulent crab claws, and perfectly blackened catfish.

But the service was awful.

It ranged from the strange -- not being asked for our drink orders, and having to track down the waiter just to get drinks, having to ask more than once for a regular-sized fork -- to the bad. We asked several times for bread which we never received, and our check was off: overcharged for crab claws, charged for oysters that weren't what we had ordered (although apparently what we ate -- but the waiter never identified them for us so we didn't know) -- and overcharged for oysters rockefeller.

When I pointed this out to the waiter, his response was "well, those were the oysters i brought you, and the crab claws' price is wrong on the menu." (like it was my fault for expecting the menu price to be correct, or that I should just suck it up and deal). I don't like haggling over a few dollars, but I do like being treated respectfully by my waiter.

In all, I'd go back, especially since it seemed like the other tables were all treated much better than mine (although I have no idea why). Although for raw stuff I'd just as soon pay a bit extra, wait a little longer, and hit up Blue Ribbon.
