It's that time of year again, the 40 days of Lent before Easter. Traditional meatless Fridays have spawned all kinds of fish dinners and other community suppers for the season, secular and .
I'm fond of St. Albert the Great. The fish there is good, and the volunteers are cheerful and efficient in feeding the multitudes. Plus, there's nothing like bingo in the Gym and raffles/desserts in the basement to round out the full parish experience. BYOB is a plus.
Who else is going, and where are you headed?
