Hey, has anyone else checked out this new gem at the top of Queen Anne? We went recently, no big expectations, just checking out the new place where Buongusto used to be. It's a low-key but inviting setting that didn't prepare us for the quality of the eats, both in ingredients used and how they were put together on the plate. Tuna carpaccio (which, I have to say, was sliced a bit TOO thin, had to be scraped up off the plate) was served with little squares of gelled tomato and cucumber juices scattered on top. My salad of grilled artichokes came layered between crispy cheese wafers. Cheesecake for dessert was made with Explorateur rather than cream cheese. Dishes were creative and fun without being foofy. It's expensive relative to other options at the top of Queen Anne, but really worth it. Quite chow-worthy, I'd say. Anyone else been?
