Fioretto is better with wine

As much as I have raved in the past about Fioretto, adding wine made it even better. The wines are mostly inexpensive, under $20.00 but because of the price, they are only good wines, not great. We had the Veal Scallopini with that amazing Semolina Gnocci, Veal Sweetbreads with Gorgonzola Risotto, Spinach Ricotta Gnocci, Burrata with Priscuitto, Fava Bean Salad, Pear Salad, Torta Nonna and Mascarpone with Fresh Berries and Chocolate Sauce desserts. We brought a Fig Infused Single Malt Scotch to complement the desserts. They had about 6 tables on a Tuesday night. Pretty respectable. The guy at the next table was drinking a 1999 Brunello. I might have missed it on the list. That could not have been cheap.
