We went to Fioretto again for lunch on Saturday and asked how business was. He told us that they were packed on Friday night. Glad to hear it. For lunch we had a salad of fresh Strawberries, Belgian Endive, and Dried Sheep's Milk Ricotta in a Strawberry Vinagrette. Salty, sweet, tart, creamy...wonderful. Next we had the Risotto that is cooked with a caramelized reduction of carrot, onion and celery. Served with Swiss Chard and Grano Cheese. Too great for words. Dessert was lite, Fresh Strawberries with fresh Whipping Cream in a Red Wine reduction sauce. We just love this place. Portions are big enough to share...at lunch anyway. Glad to hear that they are doing well. Still haven't figured out how to get rid of the paper on the tables though. Met a fellow Chowhound at the next table. He was sorry that the Zuccini Pasta was not on the menu that day.
