For anyone interested, Fior d'Italia is offering 4 course meals for 30 cents today from 11:30 - 5 (last seating at 4:30). It's to celebrate their reopening with 1880s prices. Anyway, it's in the 2300 block of Mason (near Chestnut). I tried to go today thinking that it opened at 11 (that's what they told me on the phone and what the press release said), but it opened at 11:30 and we fell just short of the first seating so we left. Can't really quibble with a 30 cent meal though. They're will be long lines all day but if anyone wants to brave them I'd love to hear how it is.
