Our father and mother-in-law will be in town for the National Race for the Cure. He is quite particular - so we need help. We are trying to set up an itinerary/reservations of fine dining experiences (party of 6)- and have run many things past him. Looking for Sat. evening dinner and potentially Sunday brunch.
The ones we've suggested are as followed:
*Melrose (We ate their last year and they liked it. He said they would be happy to go there again.)
*Obelisk (perhaps the menu (fixed with not a lot of choices) would be too limited for my dad)
*Signatures (which is new, but my dad sent me a review of it and thought it sounded good to him.)
We had recommended the following based on Joe H and company's previous glowing recommendations:
*Maestro - he struck down, said it was too far out
*Inn @ Little Washington - too far out
*El Laboratorio - won't have any availability
*Kinkeads - they ate here last time, and he wasn't very impressed
Our problem, is he isn't interested in looking stuff up online, and is relying on us. He is usually influenced by word-of-mouth, "Best of" or awards from magazines. Any recommendations with backup info/ammo would be much appreciated!
