On Sat night we went back to Bucks with some friends. Had been there a few weeks ago with my parents and enjoyed our meal alot so were looking forward to this one.
5 of us. We ordered the house Syrah ($28) which was a little astringent upon first taste but as the waiter promised opened up nicely after a few minutes.
I had an excellent fresh mozz salad, w/ roasted squash, peas and sundried tomato pesto. Wifey had chicken livers on toast which I had ordered last time.
2 of us ordered the soft shell crabs, 1 the shrimp and grits (grits were amazing again and shrimp was delicious and nicely smoky), one the fish and one a grilled veggie plate
for dessert we split the ice cream sandwich and the chocholate cake
bill for 5 was $186 + tip - good value imho
last night we had a quick dinner at 2 Amys - meatballs and two pizzas - yummy yummy yummy - washed down with a nice glass of La Chouffe beer in a funky glass
life is good!
