Finding restaurants in the French countryside

mbcraw4d | Apr 25, 201902:56 PM     10

Hi, all! I enjoy this board's wisdom when it comes to finding great places in Paris, but this summer we'll be doing a driving tour around France, mostly skirting the cities. So instead of asking what your recommendations are for the Bourgogne or the Loire-et-Indre, can I ask what resources you tend to use when you're in an unfamiliar part of the country? Do you use Michelin, Routard, Yelp, La Fourchette? Do you just look to see where all the cars are parked? Would love to know which non-Chowhound resources you have had the best luck with! Thanks!
