The Examiner article on duck confit last Wednesday reminded me that it's dish I used to enjoy making. Having just moved to San Francisco a couple of months ago, though, I don't know where to get duck or rendered duck fat. I live in the Lower Haight (round the corner from oft-praised Rosamunde!) and the closest store to me is Safeway, which certainly doesn't have such things. Any tips?
