Help finding "classy" place to take a date

Moogie007 | Jan 4, 201609:59 PM     19

I need help finding a "classy" place to take my girlfriend for Valentine's day. This is the first time since we started dating several years ago I can afford to take my girlfriend somewhere nice for Valentine's day. I mean somewhere where being dressed up (dress shirt and dress shoes, and dresses and high-heels) is the norm for eating there or at least won't get us odd looks. She is an amazing girl and I'm just a college student from the country who is incredibly ignorant when it comes to things like fine dinning. This is the first year I can afford to take my girlfriend somewhere nice and classy, where she could get dressed up to go. I want to take her somewhere that is going to make her feel really special and somewhere she is going to remember for a long time.

I can realistically go anywhere between Lansing, Jackson, and Ann Arbor, Michigan
She really likes Italian food and sushi, if that helps.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If this isn't the right place or way to post for this sort of thing help would be appreciated.
