Finding Broken Glass in Your Dishwater -- and Your Other Tips?

I came across this neat tip for finding broken glass in your soapy dishwater. Use a tall beverage glass or a large clear glass bowl as a "window" to the underwater world: http://tipnut.com/quick-tip-finding-b...

This site seemed to have lots of neat tips.
Another one is spraying a cheese grater with PAM prior to grating, to aid later cleanup.

Or, picking up small broken glass bits using rolled up bread.....

I thought I would share my find with you. Do you have any neat tricks to share -- on mishaps in the kitchen, cleaning cookware, getting sparkling glasses, removing wine from linens, etc.?

PS If you need WD-40, but none is in your toolbox, use PAM!
