Where to find Worchestershire Powder

Rick | Dec 2, 2003 10:06 AM

For many years, I have used Worchestershire powder as the only seasoning for my Prime Rib Roasts (rub it into all of the surfaces for the very best prime rib!).

The problem is my source (David Wade, in Tyler) has gone out of business. I have been looking for a long time for a replacement, and I have only found an inferior product marketed by Sutton Bay Trading co. in Indiana. It is much milder and lacks the intensity of the Texas version.

Does anyone know if anyone is continuing the production of this original Texas worchestershire powder since David Wades death?

My guess someone in the Tyler area may have some insight into this.

Thanks in advance,
