Where can I find "Mandarin Duck"? in OC?

RoryC | Aug 19, 200302:09 PM     2

When I was a kid I remember going to a Chinese Restaurant (The San Pan?) somewhere in Anaheim that served a dish called "Mandarin Duck". It was duck, cut into cubes, deep fried (crunchy) and served with a plum sauce.

That was my favorite dish and I ate it all the time. Since moving to south county years ago and the restaurant closing I have never come across.

Does this dish sound familiar to anyone, an if so, where can I find it? :]

BTW: Does anyone remember this restaurant - I think it was called "The San Pan". It had a koi pond in front that had a bridge over it, over which you walked to enter the restaurant. And I remember a neon sign on a pole out front.

Thanks!
