Where to find kinchaku in NYC?

kickingchicken | May 24, 2006 05:48 PM

Hi Chowhounds,

I vacationed in Japan recently, and I fell in love with oden there, especially kinchaku (rice cake wrapped in tofu pouch). The convenience stores sell hot oden right off the counter. Delicious!

Does anyone know of any good kinchaku in NYC or surrounding areas? It looks like something that might be hard to make by hand, otherwise I'd try to recreate the phenomenon.
