I have learned that Swedish Bakery on the far North side has great, delicious Asiago bread. It's so good, there's no need for butter, olive oil, or anything else. However, they only bake it on Fridays.
Do any of you Chowhounds know of other bakeries that have it every day, perhaps Italian bakeries? I live in Streeterville and would like to be able to buy it on the North Side, if possible, but I'd love to know about places that sell it, anywhere in Chicago. Thanks much.
