How to find a followed discussion that you haven't participated in?

There ought be a way to distinguish between followed posts and posts that one participates in. Today I searched for threads on home cooking, found two old threads that were of interest, but I had not posted a reply in either of them. So I followed them in order to save them for later reading in depth. Now to my dismay in order to find them on "my followed posts" I have to scroll through page after page after page of all posts I have posted on and not "unfollowed" in order to find the newly followed posts that I just saved. I've not found them yet.

There is very little difference between my followed posts and all discussions. Every thread that one has participated in shows up on All Discussions, and all those threads also show up on My Followed Posts unless you unfollow a thread.

There ought to be a way to save threads that you wish to save but not reply to, in order to make them easier to locate. Or is there some magic that I'm missing?
