No, I am not looking for a loofah.
I watched the movie Goodby Mr. Chips (1939) last night. At one point during tea, several baked goods were mentioned, including "bath buns" which I picked up by turning on the subtitles.
They originated in Bath, England and apparently are yeast buns with a lump of sugar at the bottom. Sounds wonderful to me. Is there a bakery in San Francisco that makes them??
