headed here in the rain for lunch yesterday, being lazy and wanting to try this place for awhile now. i was pretty overwhelmed by the menu, so i asked this guy standing in line what he suggested, but he just said everything is good. i ended up getting the pollo con rajas burrito, which was over $7 w/ tax and HUGE (i opted for the additional sauce and melted cheese, which ended up being unnecessary i think). anyway, the burrito was good, but nothing to write home about. the chicken had a nice flavor and it was tender and moist, but i was expecting something different. i really liked the pico de gallo w/ the pickled jalapenos and carrots tho (escabeche i think it's called) - i could make a meal of it if i had some chips to go w/ it. the place also has a homey atmosphere; i'm sure it gets pretty nutty tho once the weekend comes. anyway, ive heard the burritos are the thing at this is the chile relleno burrito? i was going to opt for the $5.25 lunch special that comes w/ chips and a drink, but figured that'd be too much food. so what do you guys particularly recommend at this place?
