"Final" Schedule for Mid-December Trip – Opinions??

Lives to Eat | Nov 12, 200307:08 PM

I think I have finally sorted out the meal itinerary for my upcoming trip but would like to run it by you folks one more time to see if I'm missing anything or if something should be changed. To qualify, I'm a single woman, staying at the Dauphine Orleans in the FQ and will not have a car. (I live in SF and don't have a car here, either, so I am comfortable with the streetcar and cabs.)

Thursday Dec. 11, flight arrives at 5pm:
Dinner: Gabrielle 9pm (this is the one night I'm still waffling on – it was Gabrielle or Peristyle, and I'm not 100% sure I made the right choice)
After dinner: Carousel Bar (maybe - would it be weird for me to go alone?)

Friday Dec. 12:
Breakfast: Elizabeth's (including praline bacon – I figure I'll pass on lunch and just have a big breakfast)
Dinner: Brigtsen's 6pm

Saturday Dec. 13:
Breakfast: Elizabeth's again (depending on the day before) or Café du Monde
Lunch: Plans for the day are first the Crescent City Farmer's Market and then out to Magazine Street – if I don't eat a big breakfast, I could eat something mid-day
Dinner: Hands-on cooking class @ New Orleans School of Cooking

Sunday Dec. 14:
Breakfast: Café du Monde or La Madeline
Lunch: will be in Garden District for holiday home tour - no plans
Dinner: Stella! 6pm

Monday Dec. 15
Breakfast: Café du Monde or ??
Lunch: Bayona 1pm

I'm also planning to take home a muffuletta from Central Grocery, since it's too much to eat while I'm there with all the other dining. I've had them pack it as if they were going to FedEx it and it was fine.

Any thoughts????
