headed to fin & brew for hvrw, the space is spare, industrial, most of the tables have a great, unadulterated view of the Hudson. We both started with delicious beer steamed mussels served with toasted bread for dipping. For entrees, we shared the charmoula marinated skirt steak and the buttermilk fried chicken. The skirt steak had great flavor and a beautiful char. I was a little less positive about the heavily coated fried chicken but the inside of the chicken was perfectly moist. We also (over)ordered a side of their crunchy potatoes which turned out to be a high point of the dinner. We both had the chocolate parfait for dessert which was well-prepared but unmemorable. Interesting, fairly priced craft beer is available from the first-floor brewery, wine list was well thought out and eclectic but a little more than I'd want to spend ordering by the glass.

Putting it all together, the restaurant offers a great view of the hudson, on-site brewed craft beer and good, well-prepared if not inspiring comfort food. I'd definitely recommend adding it to your restaurant week list.
