Filipino sausages

another ingredient request:

i've been told that Filipino versions of chorizo etc are garlickier funkier and all around tasty

Does anyone have a preference for certain brands of filipino chorizo, longainiza (sp?) or better yet is familar with all those little stores in Niles, Skokie, Morton Grove and know folks who are making up their own stuff?
