This is primarily a catering place that also does a lunch buffet and take-out to order. They have a couple of tables so I guess you could eat your cooked-to-order there, but they don't seem set up for table service. At three in the afternoon the buffet looked a little tired (in their defense, the sign on the door says "Lunch Buffet 12 to 2") so I passed it up, but it seems to consist of a choice of three entrees, rice, and a vegetable.
A take-out order of goat caldereta really hit the spot. The goat was falling off the bone but still had enough substance to have something to chew, and it was spicy enough to produce a nice cooling sweat on the first hot day in a while. I know next to nothing about Filipino food, but this certainly made me want to taste more.
The only printed menu is the catering one, which lists prices for hotel pan-sized servings Daily specials are on a white board, sans prices. A very generous serving of the caldereta was only $5.50, but rice and veg would have been extra.
My order was taken by a young man. A woman, possibly his mother, told me with pride she had made the caldereta. When I said I'd never had Filipino food before she became very concerned I might not like goat, but she assured me her's did not taste like goat. I LIKE goat, but this was even better than any Jamaican or Mexican goat I'd had before.
