I'm just about out of these (sausages); I had frozen a couple of packages. These products are unavailable in Canada due to a bureaucratic snafu - the food agency wants animal testing for the protein quality (which the company refuses to do). Moreover there is an objection to the expression "vegetarian meat", though changing that for the Canadian market would be simpler to solve.
Does anyone know if there has been any progress in this standoff? Many people I know here in Montréal like these products, whether or not they are vegetarian. They don't have the gummy texture some Yves products tend to have.
